Delta Upsilon was founded at Williams College in 1834 and is the oldest non-secret fraternity in the world. There are no secrets with Delta Upsilon.  No secret rituals.  No secret oaths.  No hazing.  We're proud of what DU stands for:  the world's only international fraternity committed to sharing our ideals, symbols, and rituals openly.  More than 110,000 men have been initiated into our brotherhood since our founding.  Our members include men from all walks of life and each has been admitted solely on the basis of merit.

The Washington State Chapter offers you an excellent balance between social and academic life.  Academics are always the first priority at our house.  We provide study areas in quiet areas, required study hours, class files and proctored study tables to assist our members in their academic pursuits.  In addition to our rigorous study program, we keep a busy social schedule, including date dashes, numerous exchanges, our annual camping, raft and ski trips, spring break with the brothers in Mexico, Lake Tahoe or Lake Havasu, Pledge Dance in Canada, and many others.  Our members are also very involved in extracurricular activities, ranging from varsity sports to the fire department and leadership positions in the Greek community.  Our membership is a closely-knit group of brothers who are focused on success in academics and in life.
