Campus Resources

 

 

Health and Wellness Services provides high-quality, cost-effective primary health care, mental health care and health education programming to the students of Washington State University. It is is staffed by approximately 40 highly trained personnel including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical assistants, health education staff, administrative and support staff.

 

  The Washington State University chapter of Greeks Advocating Mature Management of Alcohol is a member of the B.A.C.C.H.U.S. and G.A.M.M.A. Peer Education Network focusing on alcohol abuse prevention and other related student health and safety issues.
  This is an excellent way to find out what online campus services are provided for you!

This site offers an index to WAC's, outlines the University Conduct Board, and is a way to report misconduct or file an appeal of a Conduct Board sanction.

The primary functions of the Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response Task Force are to provide a network for the coordination of educational outreach efforts aimed at preventing coercive sexual experiences and to respond to sexual victimization of WSU students and members of the community.

This policy provides consistency and clarity on the permitted use and enforcement of alcohol laws and statutes on all WSU properties statewide.

Community Resources Help for victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence, friends and non-offending family members, with a focus on prevention education and community outreach.
  Counseling and Testing Services offers a range of psychological services-- including counseling and psychotherapy, groups, workshops and outreach programs, consultation, crisis service, and psychological testing.
  Food handling regulations have changed! The new rules go into effect on May 2, 2005. You can view the new rules here and also learn about foodand beverage worker permit classes.
   
On Line Resources
COMPASS is transformational change for the future of Greek life. It is new ways of thinking and being. It is not an organization, a hierarchy, or a bureaucracy.
(These sites are not controlled by WSU, so the Office of Greek Life and/or WSU can take no responsibility for the content of these sites.) National Panhellenic Conference, founded in 1902, is an umbrella organization for 26 inter/national women's fraternities and sororities. Each member group is autonomous as a social, Greek-letter society of college women and alumnae.

The following links are provided as a service to our visitors. These links do not imply endorsement or support of any programs. This is not a omprehensive list. The NIC serves to advocate the needs of its member fraternities through enrichment of the fraternity experience; advancement and growth of the fraternity community; and enhancement of the educational mission of the host institutions. The NIC is also committed to enhancing the benefits of fraternity membership.
The National Pan-Hellenic Council, Incorporated (NPHC) is currently composed of nine (9) International Greek letter Sororities and Fraternities: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Omega Phi Psi Fraternity, Inc. NPHC promotes interaction through forums, meetings and other mediums for the exchange of information and engages in cooperative programming and initiatives through various activities and functions.
NALFO (National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations) is an umbrella council for Latino Greek Letter Organizations. The purpose of NALFO is to promote and foster positive interfraternal relations, communication, and development of all Latino Fraternal organizations through mutual respect, leadership, honesty, professionalism and education.

The Association of Fraternity Advisors has provided individuals concerned with the fraternity/sorority movement an avenue for professional growth and development since its founding in 1976. Although we maintain a Central Office in Indianapolis, it is through the strength and commitment of our volunteers that the Association remains responsive to its membership.
The BACCHUS and GAMMA Peer Education Network is an international association of college and university based peer education programs focusing on alcohol abuse prevention and other related student health and safety issues.
Be Responsible About Drinking. A site developed by the family of Bradley McCue, a Michigan State University Junior who died of alcohol poisoning after celebrating his 21st birthday. It is their hope that the educational information distributed by the organization will prevent other families from suffering the loss that they have sustained.

The Higher Education Center's purpose is to help college and community leaders develop, implement, and evaluate programs and policies to reduce student problems related to alcohol and other drug use and interpersonal violence. It's part of the U.S. Department of Education.
The Inter-Association Task Force on Alcohol and Other Substance Abuse Issues is a coalition of vital organizations who collaborate on issues relating to substance abuse prevention efforts within the higher education community.

The purpose of MGCA is to stimulate the growth and development of college Greek Councils by promoting leadership and educational experiences for student leaders at colleges and universities.

The TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) programs teach servers, sellers and consumers of alcohol to prevent intoxication, drunk driving and underage drinking.
The Western Regional Greek Association (WRGA) hosts the Western Regional Greek Leadership Conference (WRGLC) one of the four regional conferences for Interfraternity Councils, Panhellenic Councils, Greek Councils, National Pan-Hellenic Councils, and Multicultural Greek Councils.
